It’s not fair.  She was too young.

I cried all morning and we weren’t even that close.

But she was such a beautiful person, inside and out.

All the memories from high school came rushing back.

Her sister and I were best friends then, but now time has passed.

It’s been a while, but that doesn’t mean the past is erased.

I still remember.  And it still hurts.

And if I’m feeling this way, how is Meghan?  How is her family?  Friends?

There are no words.

Only thoughts and prayers and tears.  Tears.
